The Balinese thinks that property and Nastily side by side exist (black / knows checked cloths are to be seen often). Therefore, there is in the following history which entwines itself round Barong and Rangda no winner. The dance begins with a prelude which has, actually, no connection with the history. When then, nevertheless, the shape of the black witch – the mighty Rangda accepts, Sadewa cannot hit them any more. With a renewed attempt, they to unterwerden, Sadewa changes into the Barong. They fight with each other. Because they are equally strong, however, nobody can defeat the other. As a result calls of the Barong his followers for the help.
