With the works shown on our homepage it concerns piece art at topmost level. It is unbelievable that such works can be created by human hand. Come along ready for the rediscovery of the spirituality.
They can discover in case of every careful consideration over and over again something new, as if own dynamism arises to every sculpture. A perceptible, almost quite uncanny spirituality lets some really detectable border become blurred.
Each of these unique specimens is handmade from the most different wood. Depending on the level of details, the artists create these „vividly working“ figures from the Far Eastern mythology in laborious work about many weeks, sometimes even about months or years. Creative irreparable lifetime bundled up, preserves in the respective object.
For world strollers and experts of numerous cultures and their craft art the balinesische piece art shows one of the highest steps of the completion. It can happen to the interested viewer that the border threatens to become blurred between earthly and supernatural creating art.
Every unique piece is selected by my colleague and friend Komang as well as by me personally on site and is acquired. Komang is Balinese, and even endowed artist. He knows therefore the culture and the history of the objects, and has on site the direct wire to the artists.
We are glad to be allowed to give you here a small insight into the world of the mythology and the piece art from Bali, and wish a lot of pleasure while looking these masterpieces, and with the study of the carefully amassed background information.
